Happy birthday …

Originally from St-Antoine de Tilly, Jacqueline Lafleur Picard (photo) is celebrating his 89th birthday today. Married on June 8, 1957 and widowed since February 13, 2018 (late Lionel Picard), she still lives in their house in the Les Saules district in Quebec City where she still cooks and even makes her own applesauce. A home seamstress throughout her working life, Jacqueline still adores knitting. Calling herself a “happy old lady,” she also keeps busy doing some gardening. She has two children, André Picard (Johanne Bélanger) and Alain Picard (Carole Fauchon); as many grandchildren (Martin Picard and Francois Picard) and soon (in November) a great-granddaughter who will be named Alicia (Martin’s daughter). The entire Picard-Lafleur family, as well as many friends, wish him a “happy” birthday.
