… The moment to celebrate the simple pleasures of the Riviera in a joyful atmosphere and an innovative approach to the restaurants and bars of the Hotel Martinez, emphasizing carefully selected ingredients and products from local artisans. It also means living an exclusive experience in unique places: the Martinez Bar, the two-Michelin-starred restaurant La Palme d’Or and its chef. Christian Sinicropi, the restaurant Le Jardin du Martinez and the restaurant on the hotel’s private beach.
The new Bar alongside the Garden celebrates the spirit and world of yachting
A majestic gold and white oval bar, large bay windows offering a view of the Croisette and the Mediterranean and, that evening, a magnificent sunset. Pierre-Yves Rochon has chosen a glamorous retro theme, with varnished rosewood woodwork, blue leather and golden reflections which exude all the elegance of the seaside. Adjoining the bar, a large glass roof overlooking the garden and the hotel facade . Relaxing beige and blue tones, the atmosphere is chic and cozy.
” The Brothers Experience” , Jeff at the piano and his sister Angelic singing, punctuate the evening with international standards.
We are greeted by Yann Gillet, General Manager of the hotel, Guillaume Ranvier, Hotel Manager, Marie-Claire Boudaud, Marketing & Communication Director, Quentin Danset, Restaurant Manager and, the »Captain« , Olivier Blanchard, Head Barman.
A bit nostalgic for a bygone era, we are pleased to meet the former barmen chefs Georges Enrietti, prince of the good word, author of “Five Lives of the Admiral”, recounting with force anecdotes his professional life at Martinez and, Michel Loue, always affable and smiling.

Shaker in hand, Guillaume Cotin and Alexandre maras, bartenders, exert a talented mixology and distill a menu of around thirty recipes. After the excellent Champagne Taittinger, we taste delicious classic cocktails and original creations, real Trip around the world …
The ” West Indies“, Explosion of scents and colors, presented in a box surrounded by wood from which rises a bluish smoke, a clever blend of rum, vanilla syrup, mango and pineapple juice decorated with passion fruit and red currant .

… Savor a creation of cocktails: MoaÏ, M.om.a, Jungle, Copper Rose, Martinez Cocktail, Moulin Rouge, Champagne Martinez, Palme D’or…, sip one of the 22 gins of its selection from all over the world (United States, Netherlands, Japan or France), gins seasoned with spices and fresh herbs – taken directly from the Martinez Bar’s vegetable garden – and end the evening until the end of the night in a sweet atmosphere Piano Music Live. The best cocktails as the best bottles come with a selection of cigars offered in a sumptuous “Cigar trunk” sheathed in blue leather.

… Bordeaux native, directs his training towards a management course with a strong desire to work in the tourism and hotel industry: BTS at the Ecole Hôtelière de Paris – Lycée Jean Drouant in 1992, Maîtrise ( Master 1 ) at the Strasbourg School of Management and Management in 1994, DESS in Finance ( Master 2 ) at the IAE in Paris in 1999. An innate taste for travel, for adventure to discover different cultures, Yann Gillet evolves and flourishes within Hyatt hotels: at Hyatt Regency Casablanca as Director of Operations he held from 2002 to 2007, as General Manager at Hyatt Regency Johannesburg until 2011, at Park Hyatt Chennai until in 2013, at the Hyatt Regency Paris – Charles de Gaulle until 2016 and finally, at the Grand Hyatt São Paulo. Dynamic, Yann Gillet is passionate about sport, fan of marathon, IronMan and other ultra-trail!
The “Martinez”, a legendary 5-star luxury hotel
Opened at the end of the 1920s, the Hôtel Martinez embodies the lightness of the Côte d’Azur. Known for its warm atmosphere full of joie de vivre, it is and was the place to see and be seen on the iconic Croisette. Inspired by the iconic Art Deco style of the Hotel Martinez in the 1930s and the soothing colors of the Côte d’Azur, the hotel’s 411 rooms and suites are an ode to the emblematic style of the Riviera.
