He was the author of the “Dictionary of Contemporary Latin American Politics” (Ed. Océano, México, 2000 and 2005) and also wrote numerous articles in newspapers and magazines in Mexico, Spain and Argentina.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of CANIEM (National Chamber of the Mexican Publishing Industry) from 2003 to 2006. UNESCO expert for the evaluation of projects on cultural industries, from 2012 to 2015. Also invited speaker by CERLALC (Regional Center for the Promotion of Books in Latin America and the Caribbean) repeatedly on professional topics.

In 2002 he received the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle, in the degree of Insignia, which is awarded by the Presidency of the Republic as the highest honor that a foreigner can receive from the Mexican government, and in 2015 he was awarded the National Juan Pablos Award. to the Editorial Merit.

In 2015, Jorge Herralde’s Anagrama publishing house announced that Ricardo Nudelman was its new representative in Mexico, an appointment within the framework of the agreement between Editorial Anagrama and the Feltrinelli group to promote its expansion and growth in Mexico and the rest of Latin America. .
