Personalities of the world support the Cuban people in the March of 15N

The Nobel Prize in Literature, Mario Vargas Llosa, along with presidents, governors, ministers, academics and journalists from around the world signed a public letter expressing their support for the peaceful protests on November 15 in Cuba.

The missive, published by the International Foundation for Freedom, indicates that “the people of Cuba have suffered the gigantic oppression of the longest-lived dictatorship in the history of Latin America, being thus deprived of the most elementary human rights “.

The signatories celebrated that the people took to the streets on July 11, 2021.

“We express our solidarity to the Cuban people in their fight for freedom and democracy. Cubans have the right to choose their future., their demands are legitimate and necessary for the construction of the rule of law on the island, “they add.
