The MTV Video Music Awards, or just the MTV VMAs 2019, took place in a live ceremony from the Prudential Center pavilion in New Jersey, and in this note you can find every detail of the most important gala of American music.

► MTV Video Music Awards: Bad Bunny and J Balvin put the Latin touch to the gala

► MTV VMAs: Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes celebrate the success of “Señorita”

Comedian Sebastian maniscalco took over from Katy Perry (host of 2017; in 2018 there was no driver) and was in charge of presenting the gala that featured the participation of the Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, Rosalía, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, Lil Nas , among others.

The ceremony started at 7 pm (Mexico, Peru, Panama, Colombia time) with the traditional red carpet. Several stars such as Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello paraded their best outfits.

American pop star Taylor Swift lit up MTV’s annual Video Music Awards on Monday by taking home Video of the Year, in a presentation highlighting her LGBT rights activism.

Meanwhile, hip hop iconoclast Missy Elliott turned the crowd on fire with a performance befitting her status as a 2019 Vanguard Award winner.

After Elliott roused the audience with a mix of her greatest hits, including the classic “Work It,” rap queen Cardi B called the 48-year-old rapper a “living legend” by awarding her the iconic statuette. .
