The Latin Grammys are a great opportunity for people in the artistic environment in Latin America to leave their names high, as well as those of designers and stylists. On this occasion, many of the stars opted for emerging Latino designers. Here we leave you the best dressed.

Sofia Carson

The actress, singer and dancer with Latin roots hit the red carpet in a dress by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. The pale pink dress has a long V-neckline and princess skirt, with vertical sequin straps down the entire length. As an accessory, Sofia wore a feather shawl of the same color.

Maria Becerra

The Argentinean nominated for New Artist of the Year showed us a look with punk influences. A short dress in gray tones and black patches, by designer Bruno Giordano of the same nationality, a graduate of the London College of Fashion. To complete the look, Maria wore long black gloves and large combat boots.

The Venezuelan singer wore a design by the Mexican, Victor Alamos. The look consisted of a black shirt with ruffles on the chest and high-waisted pants, slightly flared in a black glitter fabric. The main piece was a red jacket with a houndstooth print.

Christina Aguilera

The singer surprised on the red carpet with a mermaid cut dress with a light train, but the key to her outfit were gloves that were joined at the back of the shoulders in black latex.

Danna Paola

The Mexican singer and actress decided to wear a Carolina Herrera with an empire top and a shorter bubble skirt in the front, combined with stilettos with ribbons at the ankles and a half gathered in her hair.

Ana Brenda Contreras

Ana Brenda wore a spectacular pink dress by Mark Bumgarner. The asymmetrical dress had a neckline in the shape of a vertical bow, with the same fabric in a lighter pink, the actress’s waist was defined with four small pleats and ended in an asymmetrical circular train. The shoes were a fun and delicate touch, as they had a small butterfly on the front.

Nicki nicole

The audience’s favorite Argentinian leaned towards a more minimalist style with a black satin dress, off the shoulder and open at one leg to show off her tattoos. Sexy and elegant at the same time. The singer went for a classic look with red lips and Hollywood waves in her hair.

Giulia Be

The Brazilian’s dress was an innovative piece, a bandage dress, similar to the bodysuit Mila Jovovich wears in the fifth element. The asymmetrical dress covers half of the singer’s body with a long sleeve on the right side, while the other half of her body was exposed with the cuts in the fabric on her side and in the skirt, showing her left leg.

Clarissa molina

On the Dominican beauty queen we saw another dress with multiple cuts. Colombian designer Viktor Cardona was the one who created this emerald green velvet piece. Similar to Giulia Be, this dress mostly covers one half of the body, however the cuts on the torso are balanced between the right and left side. We could also see a small silver pendant with the face of a cougar at the height of the model’s waist.

Nathy Peluso

A favorite of the night. Winner of “Best Alternative Music Album”, Nathy Peluso wore a black velvet dress open at the right leg with a cross pendant with embedded green, red and blue jewels. But the piece that stole the most glances was her big crown of blue hair.

The rapper arrived in a black Rick Owens dress with multiple textures. The top was long sleeves with a deep V-neckline and the mermaid skirt appears to be denim, with positions to accentuate the figure. A simple but very elegant look. The Colombian jewelry was a contribution from designer Charlie Lapson.

Juliana Velasquez

The “New Artist” winning actress and singer arrived with a dress by designer Pedro Mendoza. Worthy of a Disney villain, the top of the dress is made of rhinestones almost entirely. The pleated skirt is made of green metallic fabric, matching the top and a pair of velvet gloves.

Roselyn Sanchez

Adolfo Sánchez is the creator of this wonderful dress. The thousand ruffles on the skirt brought all eyes to the singer and the neckline was not far behind. From top to bottom we see a hater neck tied on one side, followed by the neckline and skirt at the hip that shows originality in this dress made up of multiple layers of coral tulle.

Pedro Capó

The men of the Latin musical world showed that they can also have fun with their outfits, Pedro Capó is one of the examples. With a beige suit from Acne Studios, whose logo is all over the fabric, leaving some gaps that appear to have been torn or patched. It is worth mentioning that the singer was for a daring style, because he decided not to wear a shirt under his jacket.

Diego Torres

The Argentine singer appeared with a more classic look, with a white shirt and black mauve velvet pants with black lapels and cuffs. As an accessory, he chose gray translucent glasses without frames.

An event full of music, colors and brown skin. The perfect example that it is not necessary to have blue eyes or blonde hair to look amazing. The stars showed first-class outfits and the best part is that many of them are supporting young Latino stylists and designers, what better way to promote art in Latin America.
