The Group of World Heritage Cities of Spain launches a powerful international promotion campaign in the United States, from November 16 to 19.
The president of the Group and mayor of Mérida, Antonio Rodríguez Osuna, together with the mayor of Baeza, Lola Marín, lead the delegation that travels to America and will participate in different events at the University of California; at the Grammy Awards ceremony and various presentations in Las Vegas.
In addition, the president of the Group and the mayor will hold a meeting at NASA, on the occasion of the meeting of space agencies, which will be held in Baeza in 2022.

The Chairman of the Group, Antonio Rodríguez Osuna, explained that “this is the most ambitious international promotional trip that the Group has undertaken, aimed at an issuing market that has great interest in history, culture, monuments or the gastronomic offer of our country. In addition, it is a trip that aims to position the 15 World Heritage Cities as preferred tourist destinations, also for the organization of events and congresses ”.

The Group participates in the presentation of the World Heritage Cities at the University of California (UCLA) before a selection of agents, tour operators; influencers, prescribers and specialized press, in an event aimed especially at the Sephardic community.
The president of the Group and the mayor of Baeza visit NASA on the occasion of the 32nd International Symposium on Aerospace Technologies in Terahertz, which will be held in Baeza from April 4 to 7, 2022. It is a congress that will make the City Heritage of Humanity is the meeting place for researchers and the most prestigious universities in the world, together with space agencies such as NASA, the European Space Agency or the Japanese Space Agency, among others.
