Latin GRAMMYs: winners and performances by Christina Aguilera, C. Tangana, Gloria Estefan … – jenesaispop.com

The Latin GRAMMYs gala was held tonight with C. Tangana and Camilo among the main winners of the evening, as expected. Carlotta Cosials de Hinds has declared marriage to C. Tangana after seeing him loaded with awards … six years after Antón declared himself to her in a song, in pre-‘Idol’ times.

Juan Luis Guerra and Bad Bunny have also won important awards, although the most precious of all, the Album of the Year award, has gone to Rubén Blades and Roberto Delgado & Orquesta for ‘SALSWING!’. ‘Patria y vida’ by Gente de Zona has won the award for Song of the Year and ‘Maybe’ from Caetano Veloso & Tom Veloso for Recording of the Year.

Among the outstanding performances of the night are that of C. Tangana, who has replicated his “Tiny Desk” sitting at a table and accompanied by all his troops (Alizzz, Antonio Carmona, La Húngara, etc.); and that of Christina Aguilera, who has premiered her new ballad ‘Somos nada’ and also her single ‘Pa Mis Muchachas’ with Becky G, Nathy Peluso and Nicki Nicole. Possibly for rights reasons, the Latin GRAMMY organization has officially uploaded the awards ceremonies to YouTube but not the performances, which we attach under these lines in unofficial versions. The complete list of winners, here.
