The National Economic Team (EEN) works on a contingency plan to mitigate and face the eventual impacts caused by drought and fires in the national territory. This was stated this morning by the Deputy Minister of Financial Administration of the Ministry of Finance, Marco Elizeche.
In dialogue with a radio outlet, the undersecretary pointed out that the drought could arrive in September or October, so the authorities that make up the EEN are already working in different technical tables on the design of actions to mitigate the adverse effects caused.

“The Economic Team has already taken action and we are working on a plan that has two fronts: on the one hand, the drought and, on the other, the possibility of fires. We are working on a contingency plan to minimize these impacts, taking into account the experience of previous years ”, he stated.
At another time, Deputy Minister Elizeche stressed that they are working with the National Emergency Secretariat (SEN), with the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), as well as all the other state secretariats involved in this issue, because obviously this is It will come and in September or October we will surely have the first lights. “The idea is to avoid and minimize this from happening with information campaigns in key places,” he said.
