After three weeks of voting, it’s the funny and moving film FAREWELL THE CONS by Albert Dupontel who illustrates himself as the big winner. The feature film won four awards in the categories of best film, best director and best screenplay.
But we should not forget the performance of Laura Calamy in ANTOINETTE IN THE CEVENNES which is also widely acclaimed. Caroline Vignal’s comedy narrowly won the prize for best photography in front of ADIEU LES CONS. The award for best actor goes to Sami Bouajila for his role in A SON.
Named thirteen times, Emmanuel Mouret’s new feature film, LES CHOSES QU’ON DIT, LES CHOSES QU’ON FAIT, sees its actors Émilie Dequenne and Vincent Macaigne impose themselves as best supporting female and male role.
Also note the awards for two other Cannes films: DRUNK and JOSEP. Thomas Vinterberg’s film won overwhelmingly like the best foreign film. For its part, the animated feature film by Aurel is consecrated as best animated film.
Awarded the Louis-Delluc Prize, ADOLESCENTES triumphs in the category of best documentary and is also rewarded for its editing.
The price of the best first work returns to Manele Labidi’s film, A COUCH IN TUNIS.
All that remains is to wait for the official Cesar ceremony to be found in clear, live and exclusively on 03/12 on CANAL + and myCANAL to find out to what extent this list of operators has been premonitory.
