Oscars 2021: the complete list of artists and films in competition – Les Inrocks

Among the nominees of this 2021 edition of the Oscars, Mank by David Fincher is in the favorites alongside Chloe Zhao and Emerald Fennell.

The Academy of Oscars revealed this Monday, March 15, the list of nominees for the Oscars 2021. With 10 nominations, including the prestigious best film and best director, Mank is a favorite. At the Golden Globes, despite its six nominations, the film about Herman J. Mankiewicz had yet returned empty-handed. Hopefully he’s luckier this time around. David Fincher’s film is closely followed by several films with six nominations, such as The Father Frenchman Florian Zeller and Nomadland by Chloé Zhao but also by Judas and the Black Messiah, Minari, The Chicago Seven and Sound of Metal.

The Father by Florian Zeller with Anthony Hopkins has not yet been unveiled in France, but its distributor Orange Studio promises a theatrical release as soon as possible.
