Gilbert Recieves Endorsements from Key Democratic Groups and Elected Officials

AUSTIN— Democratic candidate for Commissioner of Agriculture Hank Gilbert today announced that he had received endorsements from key Democratic groups elected officials around the state.
“I’m deeply honored to have the support of these groups and officials. They represent a broad cross-section of the Party and their support of my campaign means a great deal to me as I continue to build a coalition capable of defeating Todd Staples in November”, Gilbert stated.
Statewide Tejano Democrats (unanimous vote) – Sen. Gonzalo Barrientos (Tejano Statewide Chair) said “of all the candidates Hank is the most knowledgeable and passionate about Agriculture.”
Houston Black American Democrats (unanimous vote) – Representative Senfronia Thompson said “Hank has my seal of approval.”
